Last week, Reformation Charlotte reported that Beth Moore, the Southern Baptist Convention’s long-time favorite lady-preacher and LifeWay’s cash cow, decided she no longer had any use for the denomination and was going to stop identifying as a Southern Baptist.

Beth Moore, following in the footsteps of another prominent Southern Baptist pastor, Dwight McKissic — who says he’s “getting off the bus” of the Southern Baptist Convention because some seminary heads decided to denounce Marxism as incompatible with Christianity — has be heralded by Southern Baptists as a hero of the faith for years. Despite her many heresies, false teachings, and rebellion to God by her insistence on preaching to men in contradiction to not only the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 14:34), but also to the Southern Baptist’s official statement of faith, she has been repeatedly platformed by pastors and leaders of the denomination.

Dwight McKissic, who has removed (or is removing) his church from the Texas Baptists and says he’ll likely follow suit with the Southern Baptist Convention altogether, is currently receiving aid and shelter from a Southern Baptist seminary following mass power outages and storm damage in the state of Texas. Yet, for McKissic, Southern Baptists aren’t “good enough” because they refuse to accept a rebellious Cow of Bashan as their queen.

Citing John 1:11, where John speaks of Jesus not being received by His people when he came to them, “He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him,” it typical blasphemous style attributed to these leftists, McKissic rewords Scripture and applies to Beth Moore equating her to Jesus.

In reality, a denomination that hasn’t forced out these heretics and blasphemers already is sick, but thankfully, we’re starting to see that movement.
