Mississippi Church Bombed Over Pastor’s Refusal to Shut Doors During Coronavirus

-

A Mississippi church that was suing the City of Holly Springs over its safer-at-home order was bombed and set ablaze by arsonists. The insanity of such an act demonstrates not only the lack of empathy and hypocrisy of those who claim these absurd stay-at-home orders actually do anything to protect lives, but exposes their profound and deep-seated hatred toward God and Christians.

WLBT reports that Pastor Jerry Waldrop — who has pastored First Pentecostal Church in Holly Springs for 31 years — is unaware of any enemies or threats made against his church.

“We’ve tacked our brains and we have no idea,” Waldrop said. “No enemies that we know of. We don’t know anyone that we even think could be capable of doing something like this.”

The church filed a complaint against the city for its restrictive measures against churches meeting for worship — which are unconstitutional by any standard — but explains that his church continues to make every effort to follow the safe social distancing guidelines as set forth by the health experts.

This incident is currently under investigation, however, one pastor friend of Waldrop’s tweeted the following:
