House Chaplain “Casts Out” Demons During Opening Prayer

-

Casting out demons, binding Satan, praying “hedges of protection” around something — these are generally marks of the Word of Faith movement. The Word of Faith movement, rooted in charismaticism and other heresies, is a false gospel that ascribes certain divine powers to man ranging from positive confession (the ability to speak things into existence) to the promise of material gain and health.

In yesterday’s opening prayer, House Chaplain Patrick Conroy prays a prayer declaring that he is now casting out the “spirits of darkness” — interestingly, never mentioning the name of Jesus.

**On a side note, if he’s casting them all out, why are all still sitting there with Democrat name tags?
