The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is leading the way in the cultural Marxist movement of identity politics and social justice. Under the guise of “racial reconciliation,” the SBC has made great strides in expanding its efforts to promote affirmative action and racial disharmony in our denomination and churches.

Martin Luther King said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” Ironically, the poor judgment against blacks at the time King made this statement has been reversed, and now, in the Southern Baptist Convention, efforts are ramped up to judge blacks, not by the content of their character, but by the color of their skin.

Dave Miller, pastor, author at SBC Voices and also known as The Company Man™, last year called for the SBC to implement an affirmative action plan to appoint and hire more blacks for leadership positions within the denomination. Apparently, it does not matter how well qualified one is, so long as they meet the racial quota. Matt Chandler, another prominent SBC pastor, and leader said that he would hire an “African American 7” over an “Anglo 8” for no other reason than the color of their skin.

If you thought you could escape Communism by being a part of the Church, think again — this is the game that is being played. It is now the “cool thing” to exclude white people, regardless of how qualified they are, to appease the cultural Marxists. And men like Matt Chandler and JD Greear, who know this, in an effort to save their own behinds, jump on the bandwagon to protect their own kingdoms.

This week, the report for the Southern Baptist president, JD Greear’s appointees to the Committee on Committees was released, and names 68 people, of which only 34 percent are white. “This committee represents churches of all sizes, ethnicities and theological persuasions involved in the Southern Baptist Convention,” Greear said, “it was my goal to select Southern Baptists who would represent their fellow Southern Baptists well.”

Well, someone else was quite pleased with the appointees too. Dwight McKissic, a charismatic, tongue-speaking reparations-seeking black nationalist Marxist wasn’t just pleased, but ecstatic.

If you were to die today, where would you go? Heaven? Hell? Not sure?
